Focus Fan Photos Hits the Ground Snapping

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 15, 2009) – Focus Fan Photos, a fan photography company focused on providing outstanding sevices and products for it's clients, has hit the ground snapping under the direction of sports marketing veteran, Jan McCormick, Jr.

"Our job is simple, help our clients do more to create an authentic experience for their guests," says McCormick, Founder and President of Focus Fan Photos. "We provide a turn-key service, ranging from building the online store to hiring photographers, and uploading content that is being looked at by customers that we know already have interest in the product."

Focus Fan Photos is an offshoot of Raceday Fan Photos, McCormick's first foray into the world of fan photography. After starting operations in June, Raceday signed Lowe's Motor Speedway as its first client and activated at their October NASCAR events. It quickly added Sprint, who was interested in offering the product to guests in the suites, and Richard Childress Racing, who wanted to enhance their reach with their fans, including their 40th Anniversary Fan Day.

"We knew we were onto something after our event at Lowe's," adds McCormick. "After seeing the amount of people we reached, hits to their site, and potential revenue and data we collected, we knew we had the chance to make this into something bigger. Focus allows us the ability to reach more clients with our services."

McCormick has quickly made his way up in the world of sports marketing. After starting with Charlotte-based Retail Sports Marketing, he moved to the client side to handle motorsports communications for Rockwell Automation. He spent the last five years with Wasserman Media Group, where he led their Motorsports efforts out of their Charlotte office.

"This is an exciting time," states McCormick, who chose Focus because of the unique meanings the word evokes. "I have been trying to find that next great concept, and fan photography has so many different ways to work it's amazing to think about. The best thing about it is that we are not only helping our clients, but their sponsors and fans as well."

The growth is poised to continue at a rapid pace. In the coming months Focus Fan Photos looks to enter new markets such as the NHRA, IRL, and the NHL, as well as continue to find ways to make a difference in the NASCAR industry.

"The sky's the limit," adds McCormick, referring to his concepts capabilities. "We are growing quickly and I'm anxious to see who we can help next."
